The prominence of the eclipsed Sun rises on it’s edge at 3rd contact of the eclipse. The image was tacken with an oil spaced triplet assembled in a CF tube by specialist Catalin Fus.

Theese bands seem to be shaddow bands projected on thin clouds. This phenomena defines this 2010 total solar eclipse in my oppinion
